COPENHELL SENDS PITCHBLACK TO THE DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 2012!

This year the Danish metal festival COPENHELL added a talent stage to their two-day metal extravaganza which included 7 upcoming metal bands chosen by an international panel of professionals. The competition was very strong but Copenhagen based PITCHBLACK came out the strongest and will as a result play at Download Festival in 2012. The jury said: “With their energetic stage show and brutal energy Pitchblack delivered a solid professional concert at Copenhell 2011, and they will without a doubt deliver the goods in England.” Check out the brand-new music video with PITCHBLACK here.

Also two other MIGHTY MUSIC artists were especially noted. HELHORSE were granted a brand-new drum kit from Ludwig for their southern inspired metal, and VANIR got a new Jackson guitar for transforming the upcoming stage to a huge Viking feast.

About 8.000 people visited Copenhell in Copenhagen June 17^th-18^th 2011, with headliners such as Judas Priest, Korn and Morbid Angel (more info here)
